Opening Day is an exciting opportunity to welcome our newest Mercer students to campus! The Office of Academic and Advising Services coordinates Opening Day in collaboration with many other members of the campus community. Student organizations, campus departments, faculty, staff, and students all play a vital role in this collaboration, helping new students move into their residence hall rooms and adjust to life at Mercer. Your help is greatly appreciated!
Mercer Mover Mission
On Opening Day, we are all Mercerians, united in a single purpose. Thus, it is our expectation that all individuals and groups participating in Opening Day represent themselves as Mercerians only. It is the policy of this office to have no group distinguish itself as separate from this common Mercer identity. We greatly appreciate the help that so many volunteers provide in welcoming our newest Mercerians!
