May Orientation is a half-day session held each May prior to the beginning of summer term for all new students enrolling in classes during the first or second summer term. This orientation is for both first-year and transfer students.
Beginning in April, all students who have submitted their enrollment deposit with the Office of Admissions will be sent a link via e-mail to complete their Orientation Registration Form. Contact your Admissions Counselor in the Office of Admissions for more information related to registering for orientation.
May Orientation Preparations
Submit any final transcripts from high school or college to Mercer's Office of the Registrar for final evaluation. Final evaluation is necessary for all transfer equivalencies to be figured prior to the summer term. After registering for orientation, students' academic information will be reviewed by an academic advisor. An academic advisor from the students' academic department will be in contact via e-mail or telephone to build your summer term course schedule.
