Students who aspire to enter the field of nursing at the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) level or higher are considered to be on the "pre-nursing track."
High-achieving students may seek participation in the Special Consideration Program for Nursing>>, which involves 2 years of pre-requisite work on the Macon campus followed by 2 years of nursing school on the Atlanta campus . This program is offered by the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences>> in partnership with Mercer's Georgia Baptist College of Nursing>>, and results in completion of the BSN in 4 years.
Alternatively, students may earn a bachelor's degree in any discipline they like, as they complete the admission pre-requisites for the nursing school of their choice.
